Sufficient grounds have been made out explaining the absence of the petitioners and/or their Advocates on April 4, 2022. The order dated April 4, 2022

is recalled. Hence, the writ petition is restored to its original file and number.

Accordingly, CAN 3 of 2024 is allowed and disposed of.

Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The writ petitioners challenge the recruitment process to the post of Assistant Teacher conducted by the DPSC, Malda in the year 2009. The writ petition has been filed in the year 2021.

The writ petitioners are, therefore, within the cut off date mentioned in the order dated 26th April, 2024 passed in WPA 25712 of 2022 (Md. Asiruddin & Ors. Vs. The State of West Bengal & Ors.). The petitioners shall be entitled to appointment on the same terms and conditions as mentioned in the said order.

The last date for receiving application as mentioned in the order dated 26th April, 2024 is extended by a period of one week.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
