None appears on behalf of either of the parties. This matter is pending in the list since 21.11.2022 and has been called on each day of working of this court since that date. Inspite of that no one is appearing. The petitioner is found to be not interest in this case. Therefore, the same is taken up today for disposal on merit. This revision is on a prayer to quash the proceedings of G.R. Case No.8633 of 2015 arising out of Golabari Police Station Case No.1387 of 2015 dated November 21, 2015 under Sections 420/120B of the IPC, 1860, pending before the court of the Ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate at Howrah. Petitioner states that initiation of a criminal proceeding against him is only illegal in so far as no material is available against him.

Concerning the provisions applied against him, no case is made out against him and the proceedings would be only the abuse of the process of court. He has prayed for quashment of the said proceeding. On perusal of the entire materials available on record and the grounds made up by the petitioner I am constrained to find that the grounds thereof are not sufficient and cogent enough to warrant this court's interference into the impugned order. Hence, in my considered opinion the revision is liable to be dismissed. Criminal Revision being CRR 455 of 2016 is dismissed. Connected application being CRAN 1 of 2016 (Old No: CRAN 2005 of 2016) is disposed of.
