The petitioner renews his prayer for bail. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than three years and chances of completion of trial in near future is bleak.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. It appears that the petitioner is the paramour of the victim lady and there is sufficient material on record implicating the petitioner in the murder of the victim. On merits, the petitioner does not deserve a favourable consideration at this stage. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The application for bail being C.R.M. (DB) No. 745 of 2025 is, thus, disposed of. Case Diary be returned.
