Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail. .

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner informed the family members of the victim as to the death. Petitioner was falsely implicated.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary including the postmortem report of the victim. Post-mortem report of the victim states that there are a number of injuries ante-mortem in nature on the victim. Petitioner was last seen with the victim.

Role of the petitioner requires investigation. Enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail in the facts and circumstances of the present case will be inimical to the investigation.

Consequently, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 649 of 2024 is dismissed.
