The petitioner was granted leave by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education to pursue the M.P. Ed. Post Graduate Course on 29th April, 2005.

The petitioner thereafter acquired the said Degree. The Secretary of Netaji Nagar Balika Vidyamandir forwarded the petitioner's request to the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Calcutta for approval of higher scale of pay on 26th June, 2007, which has remain unconsidered till date and hence the writ petition had been filed.

In that view of the matter, the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Calcutta, shall consider the petitioner's representation dated 26th June, 2007, strictly in accordance with law and dispose of the same within a period of three

months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
