(Through Video Conference) WPA No. 1893 of 2016 Badal Bera Vs.

West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited and others Mr. Haradhan Mondal ...for the petitioner.

Mr. Saurav Chaudhuri ...for the WBSEDCL.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (in short 'WBSEDCL') that the petitioner has not complied with the previous direction of this Court to make payment of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand) only to the WBSEDCL.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner pleads his hopelessness in the matter since the petitioner, that is, his client has not been in touch with the learned Advocate, despite having been intimated of the pendency of the writ petition.

Thus, the petitioner is apparently not interested in proceeding further with the matter.

Thus, WPA No. 1893 of 2016 is dismissed for default.

There will be no order as to costs.
