Appellants submit the subject matter of challenge i.e. issuance of vacancy notification dated 29th July, 2022 does not survive as the said notification has since been withdrawn.

Learned Advocate for the State submits a fresh notification has been issued.

In view of the subsequent development, we are of the opinion nothing survives in the appeal. It is open to the appellants to assail the new notification in accordance with law, if so advised.

Accordingly, the appeal and the connected application, if any, are disposed of.
