The petitioner has filed this writ application for considering her as an Honours candidate in the Graduation Level Examination to be held under the University of Calcutta. However, I find prayer (ii) at page 7 of the writ application is confusing as it has been prayed that her grievances are to be considered for Honours and/or pass grade. I have not been able to understand this expression "and/or" as the pleadings show that she wants to be considered as an Honours candidate.

In the writ application at page 14 one document of the College namely Sir Gurudas Mahavidyalaya has been enclosed wherefrom it appears that the combination of the subjects of the petitioner is Bengali (G), Education (G), History (G). There is no mentioning of Honours

stream. There is no other documents disclosed in this matter issued by the College wherefrom I can come to know that she was admitted in Honours stream. Therefore, no relief can be granted by this court and it is not understood how the petitioner could be affected by the University of Calcutta by notice dated 12th February, 2021 which is Annexure P-4 of the writ application. Nothing has been disclosed to me as to how this document goes against the petitioner. I have also taken note of all the treatment papers annexed to the writ application and despite being sympathetic I cannot grant any relief to the petitioner in this matter. However, the College Authority should see that such a student's career is not jeopardized so far as the course she is undergoing.

With the above observation, this writ application is disposed of.
