When this matter was taken up on 26.11.2020, the petitioners did not get connected though the link was provided. Yet the Bench had looked into the material papers and had recorded that there is no complaint worthy of cognizance by a competent statutory authority since the allegation on record was an omnibus one and nothing on material particulars, requisite facts, etc. The Bench, therefore, adjourned the matter to be listed, thereby enabling the petitioners further opportunity. Today, nobody has applied for link. There is no appearance for the petitioners in the physical mode. We see that there is no reason to further retain this matter pending. This writ petition is dismissed without prejudice to the Howrah Municipal Corporation taking requisite steps against any wrong doer in accordance with law.
