Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the other co-accuseds are on anticipatory bail. He submits that the police complaint was lodged with a delay of 21 days. The father of the victim lodged the complaint. There was a relationship between the petitioner and the victim. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and to the medical examination report of the victim.

Considering the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and the medical report of the victim, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 1192 of 2022 is dismissed.
