Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there is hardly any progress at the trial. He highlights the period of detention of the petitioner. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the date fixed for the purpose of recording evidence is April 22, 2022. He submits that four witnesses were already examined.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the contents of the earlier order of rejection and considering the fact that there is hardly any material change in circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, we request the learned trial Court to expedite the trial. The trial Court is requested to fix consecutive dates for trial subsequent to April 22, 2022 and

endeavour to adhere to the same. The trial Court is requested not to grant any unnecessary adjournments to any of the parties.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (DB) 691 of 2022 is dismissed.
