Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, the petitioners are ladies and are in custody for 101 days. The police filed charge-sheet and, therefore, further detention of the petitioners are not required. He submits that, there are no materials in the case diary implicating the petitioners. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the witnesses recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) The de-facto complainant is represented.

The 161 Cr.P.C. statement implicate the petitioners in the hurling of bombs in the incident.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioners. In such circumstances, prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (DB) 690 of 2022 is dismissed.
