Banerjee) Mr. Arunava Ganguly ...for the petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the husband praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, Chandernagore, Hooghly to dispose of Matrimonial Suit No. 430 of 2023 expeditiously.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that issues have been framed and February 20, 2025 was fixed for reconciliation and in default, for peremptory hearing. He further submits that the reconciliation which was fixed on February 20, 2025, however, failed. He further submits that no order directing the petitioner to pay any alimony, has been passed by the learned trial Judge in the said matrimonial suit.

In the light of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned advocate for the petitioner, learned Additional District Judge, Chandernagore, Hooghly is

requested to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No. 430 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible if the petitioner is not a defaulter in payment of any maintenance that may have been directed by the learned trial Judge or by any other forum.

With the above observations CO 690 of 2025 stands disposed of.
