The petitioners claim that they have informed the Officer-in-Charge, Patashpur Police Station for being restrained in entering in the portion of the property at the behest of the private respondents. However, such information was not acted upon. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the police authorities have drawn up proceedings under Sections 107 and 116 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in view of apprehension of any breach of peace or tranquility.

Be that as it may, the information so furnished before the police authorities being the Officer-in-Charge, Patashpur Police Station be acted upon by the Officer-in-Charge in accordance with law. The police authorities would inform the outcome of their decision to the petitioners within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 4648 of 2024 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
