The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that he had been suffering from continuous disconnection of electricity by the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (in short 'WBSEDCL') without disclosure of any reasons to the petitioner.

A previous writ petition filed on such score had culminated in an order, it is submitted, whereby the WBSEDCL was directed to disclose the clear reasons for such disconnection.

However, learned counsel appearing for the WBSEDCL hands over a communication by the writ petitioner, wherein the writ petitioner admitted that the petitioner has no further grievance against the

WBSEDCL, in view of the electric connection having been restored to the petitioner in the meantime. A photocopy of the said communication be kept on record.

In view of the tenor of the letter as well as the fact that the electricity connection of the petitioner has already been restored, there is no necessity for keeping the matter pending further.

Hence, WPA No. 3488 of 2020 is disposed of as infructuous.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
