Having heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner and on perusal of the averment made in the instant revision, this Court is of the view that the instant revision can be disposed of here and now with the assistance of the learned Advocate on behalf of the State. Therefore, Ms. Sujata Das be appointed as the learned Public Prosecutor-in-Charge in the instant case. Appointment of Ms. Das be regularized by the Legal Remembrancer, Government of West Bengal. In the instant case, the petitioner is in custody in connection with NDPS Case No.1 of 2020 since 29th December, 2019. Charge has been framed on 13th September, 2021. There are 10 witnesses in the charge-sheet. Out of 10 witnesses, only one witness has been

examined till date. Considering the sole progress of the case, the learned Trial Judge is directed to take proactive step for examination of the witnesses on behalf of the prosecution and dispose of the case expeditiously.
