Petitioner(s) Mr. Shibaji Kr. Das Ms. Deblina De ... for the Petitioner(s) Ms. Sreyashi Biswas Mr. M. F. A. Begg ... for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been implicated in connection with the instant case for alleged recovery of 92.100 kg of ganja. It has also been contended that chemical examiner's report has not yet been received.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that commercial quantity of contraband has been seized.

Having considered the period of detention which is about seven months and the fact that next date has been fixed for consideration of charges, at this stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

However, the petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the seizure list witnesses is over. Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 382 of 2026 is dismissed.
