Rina Das Mr. Amit Banerjee, Mr. Rajib Roy ...for the petitioner This is to secure a direction for expeditious disposal of Title Suit, instituted in the year 2018, praying for declaration and recovery of possession, now pending before the learned Judge, XIIIth Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta.

Mr. Banerjee, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the suit has already been posted for peremptory hearing in January, 2020. Since thereafter, there has been no tangible progress resulting in protraction of trial.

In view of the nature of the order proposed to be made, no prior notice is considered to be necessary. Service upon the opposite party stands dispensed with. Accordingly, learned Judge, XIIIth Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta in connection with Title Suit No.645 of 2018 is requested to ensure expeditious disposal of pending suit, after causing disposal of interlocutory

application, if there be any pending, but without granting any unnecessary adjournment, unless it is extremely unavoidable.

While endeavouring such exercise, the learned court below may proceed with the disposal of the suit in the manner, as situation of the case would demand, so as to dispense with the justice in a best possible manner.

Petitioner is directed to make communication of this order to the learned court below as well as to the learned advocate appearing for the opposite party in the court below.

With this direction/observation the revisional application stands disposed of.
