It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that being dissatisfied by the quantum of compensation granted to the petitioners for acquisition of their land by the State Authorities, the petitioners approached the arbitrator under Section 3 (G) 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956. The arbitration proceeding has been disposed of and the petitioners have carried an appeal under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before the appellate forum, which is pending.

In view of the above, nothing further remains in the writ petition which is accordingly disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
