The petitioner's grievance is that after acquisition of his land with structure, he received compensation with regard to the acquired land only but no compensation was granted with regard to the structure thereon. The petitioner filed an application before the District Magistrate, copy of which was also sent to the competent authority, that is, the respondent No.3 on 31st October, 2017. The petitioner complains that the said application has not been disposed of till date.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties and perusing the material on record, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction upon the respondent No.3 to consider and dispose of the application filed by the petitioner with regard to the nonproviding of compensation for structure on the land in question, filed on 7th August, 2017 after affording an

opportunity of hearing to all the affected parties including the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with law.

WPA 3503 of 2021 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

As affidavits have not been invited, the allegations made in this writ petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
