The present writ petition has been preferred inter alia praying for expeditious disposal of the original application being O. A. No. 630 of 2023.

Mr. Basu, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the learned Tribunal did not consider the petitioner's prayer for interim order on the date the matter was taken up for hearing, i.e., on 10th October, 2023 and due to paucity of time, hearing of the matter was deferred and it was directed that the same would be taken up on 27th March, 2024 under the heading 'Admission Hearing'. However, on the returnable date, the learned Bench was not sitting and as such the matter has been further adjourned to 10th May, 2024. Mr.

Mukherjee, learned Additional Government Pleader enters appearance on behalf of the State/respondents.

Upon hearing the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the learned Tribunal to consider the

applicant's prayer for interim order on the returnable date and to dispose of the original application, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of two months thereafter, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. There shall, however, no order as to costs.
