The petitioners are aggrieved by non-payment of admitted dues by the Salt Lake Reclamation & Development Circle, Nirman Bhawan, Salt Lake City, Kolkata - 700 091.

By an order dated 27th January, 202, the Special Engineer, Salt Lake Reclamation & Development Circle, Nirman Bhawa, Kolkata - 700 091 passed a reasoned order, pursuant to the direction of this Court dated 1st December, 2021.

It appears from the said order that a comprehensive enquiry has been made and the petitioner was found entitled to receive sums of money from the said Authority. The only reason why the funds could not be released is non-receipt of Budgetary Allocation from the Urban Development and M.A. Department, Nagarayan, Government of West Bengal.

In the above circumstances, this Court directs the Secretary, Urban Development and M.A.

Department, Nagarayan, Government of West Bengal

to consider release of funds to the Salt Lake Reclamation & Development Circle, Nirman Bhawan, Salt Lake City, Kolkata - 700 091 after duly verifying all the claims made by the petitioners and the recommendation of the Special Engineer.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

The petitioner shall communicate this order to the Special Engineer, Salt Lake Reclamation & Development Circle, Nirman Bhawan, Salt Lake City, Kolkata - 700 091 and the Secretary, Urban Development and M.A.

Department, Nagarayan, Government of West Bengal for compliance of this order.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
