Kanthadhar Boys Club Mr. Sujit Mitra ...for the petitioner This application under Article of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the respondents in Title Appeal No.12 of 2018 praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track, 2nd Court, Barrackpore to dispose of the Title Appeal expeditiously.

Record reveals that April 17, 2024 was fixed for further hearing of the appeal.

The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the next date for hearing of the appeal has been fixed on August 4, 2025. He further submits that the Court is at present lying vacant. In the event, the Presiding Officer joins, the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track, 2nd Court, Barrackpore is requested to dispose of the Title Appeal No.12 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

Since the appeal is pending from the year 2018 and in the event the Presiding Officer does not join prior to August 4, 2025, it will be open to the petitioner to

approach the learned District Judge for transfer of the appeal to any other Court.

With above observations and directions CO 695 of 2025 stands disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
