I have perused the report submitted by the Inspector-incharge of Serampore Police Station as also the order dated 27.1.2020 passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Serampore.

The incident complained is of October, 2019. In view of the nature of offence complained of and the limited purpose for which the investigation was prayed for regarding the recovery of the articles, I am of the opinion that issuance of search warrant would suffice the purpose for which the petitioner prayed for an order of investigation before the learned Magistrate. In view of the aforesaid, I am of the considered opinion that in case, the petitioner prefers an application under Section 97 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the learned Magistrate would consider the same in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observation, the revisional application being CRR 675 of 2020 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
