1. Petitioner is in custody for more than a year. He submits there is slow progress in trial. He renews his bail prayer.

2. Learned lawyer for the Sate opposes the bail prayer.

3. We have considered the materials on record. It is alleged petitioner deals in illegal arms. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier on merits. Trial is in progress.

4. Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.

6. We request the trial court to take necessary steps for prompt examination of witnesses and avail of video linkage for production of accused during trial if they cannot be physically produced in court due to factors beyond control of the Court. (Gaurang Kanth, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
