Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for 253 days, charge-sheet has been submitted and further detention of the petitioner is unwarranted. Learned advocate for the de-facto complainant is present and opposes the prayer for bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has referred to the medico legal examination report as well as the statement of the victim.

I have taken into account the medico legal examination report and is of the opinion that this is not a fit case for releasing the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 568 of 2026 is dismissed.
