Mr. Sudip Ghosh Chowdhury ..for the petitioner Mr. Malay Singh Ms. Neelam Singh ..for the State Learned advocate for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner retired from her service on 30.06.2021 as a teacher in a primary school. After filing this writ petition she has started getting her pension but the grievance is that now, she is not getting the benefits of ROPA 2019.

Therefore, I direct the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance to call a meeting with the petitioner and the concerned District Inspector of Schools within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order and to consider the grievance of the petitioner as has been ventilated in the writ application and to pass a reasoned order in respect of her grievance. If it is found that the petitioner is entitled to get the benefit under 2019 ROPA Rules that benefit is to given within a period of two months from the date of such

hearing. If the petitioner is not entitled then the reason should be given in the order to be passed after hearing. With the above observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
