The petitioner is the husband of the defacto complainant. The allegation against the petitioner is under Sections 498A/325/506 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has been falsely implicated and the allegations against him are omnibus in nature.

The State refers to the case diary and submits that the petitioner has failed to respond to the notices sent to him under

Section 41A of the Code of Criminal Procedure on at least two occasions.

We have perused the material in the case diary. It is evident that the petitioner is not cooperating with the investigation in view of the fact that he has failed to respond to the notices sent to him under Section 41A of the Code. In view of the same and considering the material available in the case diary, we are not inclined to allow this application.

As such, the prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
