The petitioner is aggrieved that the private respondents are disturbing peaceful possession of his property despite a decree of declaration and permanent injunction passed by the learned Civil Judge(Junior Division), 3rd Court, Baruipur, South 24 Parganas in T. S. No.16 of 2020.

The petitioner has lodged a complaint with the Joynagar Police Station against police inaction. This Court is of the view that the police cannot interpret a decree of a Civil Court. The petitioner's remedy is to seek execution of the decree-in-question and seek appropriate directions upon the police.

The Joynagar Police shall comply with any direction that may be passed by the Civil Court on them. The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

The instructions of the Joynagar Police Station dated 22.03.2023 is taken on record.

There will be no order as to costs.
