Counsel for the petitioner complains that the private respondents have effected construction over a pathway that restricts to free ingress and egress into his property.

The O. C., Alipore Police Station has filed a report in the form of instructions dated 05.11.2022 addressed to the State advocate.

The disputes between the parties are purely civil in nature. Alipore Police Station has also not received any formal complaint from the petitioner.

The petitioner may explore civil remedies against the private respondents. The police have no role to play in the matter.

The O. C., Alipore Police Station shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area. The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
