This is a contempt application alleging willful and deliberate violation of the Court's order dated November 5, 2024, by the petitioner. The petitioner has also referred to a subsequent order of the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Hooghly, dated February 28, 2025, in his supplementary affidavit.

In accordance with the said order dated February 28, 2025, it transpires that as per Court's direction as mentioned above, the petitioner's representation dated September 4, 2024, and the prayer contained therein, has been allowed by the alleged contemnor.

Mr. Nandi, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that in spite of allowing his prayer in terms of

Court's order as above, the alleged contemnor has acted in willful and deliberate violation of the Court's order as above and also illegally by espousing demand of further fees etc.

Mr. Deb Roy, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the alleged contemnor submits that there would not be any valid cause of action for the contempt petition in this case and the same is baseless and liable to be set aside.

Having heard learned counsels and perusing the documents on record, it is found that the mandates in terms of the Court's order dated November 5, 2024, in WPA 25354 of 2024 has been complied by the alleged contemnor by issuing his letter dated February 28, 2025.

The further grievance, if any, of the contempt petitioner, might have been a cause of action for further proceedings, but not maintainable so far as the contempt jurisdiction of this Court is concerned. For the reasons as above, the present contempt application being CPAN 352 of 2025 is disposed of. (Rai Chattopadhyay, J.)
