Samanta, Mr. Argha Banerjee ....for the petitioner Ms. Jayeeta Sinha, Mr. Ranjit Rajak ...for the State Mr. Subrata Bhattacharya Ms. Anamika Ghosh, Ms. Shipra Santra ...for the private respondents The petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Burdwan Police Station, Purba Bardhaman in respect of an FIR being Burdwan PS Case No. 215/23 dated 13.02.2023.

The Burdwan Police Station has submitted a report dated 12.04.2023, which is taken on record. It appears that the charge sheet being Burdwan PS Charge Sheet No. 262/23 dated 17.03.2023 under Sections 341/323/506/34 of the IPC has been filed.

The petitioner may approach the Court below with an appropriate application if she is dissatisfied with the charge sheet.

In the meantime, the Burdwan Police Station shall ensure that the petitioner is not, in any way, harmed by the private respondents.

In the event of any further complaint in this regard, the Burdwan Police Station shall take appropriate steps after assessing the threat perception.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
