Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. I find that one of the grievances of the petitioners are that the State-respondents are not acting on the basis of the information furnished on 11.02.2024.

Mr. Yusuf, learned AGP has submitted a report which reflects that Canning Police Station Case No.

148/2024 dated 23.02.2024 was registered for investigation.

Subsequent proceedings were drawn up under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Having considered the steps which have been taken by the police authorities and the prayer with which the petitioner approached this Court, I am of the view that the purpose for preferring the writ petition has been subserved.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 4740 of 2024 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
