The petitioner is aggrieved by alleged inaction of the Thakurpukur Police Station in carrying out orders of arrest of the accused person in proceedings before the 7th Judicial Magistrate, Alipore, South 24-Parganas.

The Officer-in-Charge, Thakurpukur Police Station, Kolkata Police has filed a report and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that accused person was arrested on 1st March, 2023 and produce before the 7th Judicial Magistrate, Alipore, South 24-Parganas. He has been granted bail. The matter is now fixed on 10th April, 2023. It is ordered that the proceedings in AC-2207 of 2018 be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from date.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
