Petitioners complain that in spite of information being furnished to Salar Police Station, Murshidabad, no steps were taken. Records reflect that such information was furnished on or about 09.12.2024.
Having considered that this Court has not been apprised by the State by way of any representation regarding the fate of the steps taken in respect of the representation dated 09.12.2024, I direct that if the petitioners approach the jurisdictional police station with a fresh representation, the concerned police authorities would enquire as to whether any cognizable or noncognizable offence is made out and thereafter take steps in accordance with law. The outcome of such enquiry be informed to the petitioners, preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of communication of this order.
With the aforesaid observations, WPA 4652 of 2025 is disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
