Virtually this is an application at the behest of the petitioners seeking a direction for expeditious disposal of the tribunal application being OA 312 of 2021. It is indicated that the parties were subjected to several round of litigation even before this Court. The writ petition was disposed of passing certain directions yet the tribunal is proceeding with snail pace and despite the respondents having not filed the affidavit-inopposition, the matter is being dragged. The information slip annexed to the instant writ petition reveals that the next date is fixed on 13th September 2022 for final hearing. It is apprehended by the petitioners that even on the said date the tribunal would adjourn the matter, as the State respondents shall not file any opposition. Such apprehension is unfounded.

Once the tribunal has fixed the date for hearing of the matter, we hope and trust that it would do so on the said date even on failure to file opposition by the respondents. We, therefore, direct the tribunal to take up the tribunal application on the date so fixed i.e. on 13th

September 2022 and endeavour shall be shown to dispose of the said proceeding within one month therefrom in accordance with law.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
