I find that petitioner has approached this court on account of two grievances. Firstly, there has been no progress in connection with Haridevpur PS Case No. 132/24 dated 19.02.2025 and secondly that proper sections have not been incorporated in spite of petitioner having suffered serious injuries and is still hospitalized.

State has submitted a report. I find that the investigation has commenced only on 19.02.2025, not even a month has passed since the investigation has commenced.

So far as the reports are concerned, petitioner may have a grievance regarding the applicability of the sections.

Petitioner would

approach the Deputy Commissioner of Police, South West Division by submitting a written representation.

The concerned Deputy Commissioner will intimate within a period of 15 days regarding the steps taken by the police authorities.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 4648 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
