None appears for the petitioners or for the respondents.

Records of the writ petition reflects that on 07.04.2010 on behalf of the State it was submitted that the lands in question were acquired by the Government and such acquisition was challenged before the Hon'ble Apex Court. The said challenge before the Hon'ble Apex Court at the instance of the petitioners was unsuccessful and such fact has not been presented in the writ petition. A short affidavit was called for from the respondents relating to the issue of suppression and an opportunity of reply was also granted. However, no affidavit was filed by the respondent nos. 5 and 6 and reply was also not filed thereafter.

Having considered that the case was initiated in the year 2010 and there has been no persuasion for almost 14 years, I am of the view that no interference is called for at this belated stage. Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 3298 of 2010 is dismissed.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
