Heard learned Advocates for both the parties. 2.

We have considered the materials on record. 235 kgs. of Ganja was being transported in a vehicle. Police intercepted the vehicle and arrested co-accused viz. Elias Mondal. Ganja was seized. During investigation complicity of the petitioner transpired. Petitioner had absconded and was not available for interrogation. In view of the nature of crime and the fact petitioner had evaded investigation as well as custodial interrogation, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to him.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
