Petitioner is aggrieved by the progress of the investigation and approached this court for expediting the process of Sarsuna PS Case No. 169 dated 14.11.2024.

Report submitted by the State reflects that the said case was registered under provisions of Sections 420/467/468/471 and other provisions of the Indian Penal Code. There were statements recorded, documents collected as also certain issues were cross-checked. Since the subject matter of the case is absolutely based on documents and the intrinsic value of cross-checking the documents concerned, inter-departmental processes are involved.

The investigation of the case is in progress. If the Investigating Officer could lay his hands on the deeds of the Office of the A.D.S.R. - II and subsequently the assistance of the Q.D.E.B., CID, West Bengal is required, in such circumstances the said procedure be completed with utmost time bound manner.

In view of the report submitted and the State having taken steps in a particular manner, at this stage I do not find any necessity to interfere with the progress of the investigation.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 4943 of 2025 is disposed of.

Needless to state since the affidavits have not been called for from the respondents, accusations and/or allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
