02.04.2026 Court No.28 Item No.45 ssi CRM (A) 677 of 2026 In Re: - An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Suraksha Nagarik Sanhita in connection with Hili Police Station Case No. 241 of 2025 dated 23.11.2025 under Sections 21 ( c)/22 (c )/27A/28 of the NDPS Act and Sections 17/18/27A of Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

And In the matter of: Rakib Mondal @ Md. Rakib Mondal @ Md. Rakhiba Mondal .... Petitioner Mr. Kaushik Choudhury ...for the petitioner Mr. Sumon De, Ld. APP Mr. Sujan Chatterjee ...for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the statements of witnesses and the seizure list and submits that contraband was seized from the room of the present petitioner. His father was a witness to the seizure.

Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
