This is an application wherein the petitioners have prayed for relaxation of condition of bail imposed by this court vide order dated 21st March, 2025. By the said order, this court while granting bail to the petitioners, directed them to remain within the jurisdiction of Barasat Police Station and shall report to the O.C/I.C. of the concerned police station twice in a week until further order.

Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that they have complied the said order and now it has become harsh for them to attend the Barasat police station twice in a week and also to remain within the jurisdiction of Barasat police station.

Learned counsel for the NCB places the report dated 15.7.2025 and submits that if they are allowed to stay outside the jurisdiction of Barasat police station, there is every

likelihood of their abscondance and they are habitual offender and as such, there is every likelihood of committing the similar type of offence by the petitioners and accordingly, he opposed the prayer for relaxation.

Having heard learned counsel for both the parties, let the bail order passed by this court vide order dated 21st March, 2025 is hereby modified as follows:- "the Petitioners shall report to the O.C/I.C, Barasat Police Station once in a fortnight in place of twice in a week until further order".

The order dated 21st March, 2025 is modified to that extent only. Other portions of the order shall remain unaltered.

CRAN 1 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
