It appears that an order was passed by this Court on 5th April, 2023 in WPA 3537 of 2023 (Gour Saha @ Gour Chandra Saha -vs- The Nabadwip Municipality & Ors.) in respect of the selfsame premises.

In the earlier writ petition filed on behalf of the alleged occupiers of the subject premises, the Court passed a direction upon the Municipality for conducting spot inspection upon giving prior notice to all the necessary parties positively by 21st April, 2023 and to take a decision within a fortnight of the spot inspection and positively by 16th May, 2023.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner as well as the Municipality submits, upon instructions, that steps have already been taken in compliance of the direction passed on 5th April, 2023.

Any steps taken pursuant to the order passed in the earlier writ petition will also be applicable in the present writ petition.

The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
