The main grievance of the petitioner was in respect of a property.

The petitioner, to that effect, informed the Deganga Police Station, but, no steps were taken except two G.D.E. entries being recorded dated 21.10.2022 and 18.11.2022.

The petitioner apprehends that his life and property would be jeopardized at the behest of the private respondents.

Learned advocate for the private respondent nos. 5 and 6 draw the attention of the court and submits that learned civil court is already in seisin of the issues and, to that effect, attention has also been drawn to the records of the writ petition so far as T.S. 921 of 2015 is concerned.

Learned advocate for the State submits a report which reflects that the disputes between the petitioner and the private respondents were adjudicated by the learned civil court.

However, apprehending breach of the peace and tranquility, the police authorities drew up a proceeding under Section 107 of the Cr.P.C.

Having regard to the steps taken by the police authorities, I am of the opinion that they have acted by adhering to the provisions of law, as such, no interference is called for.

However, if there are fresh disturbances, the police authorities will further act in terms of the relevant provisions of law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 4595 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
