Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that till date in connection with M.Ex. No. 106 of 2017, the husband/opposite party no.2 has paid a sum of Rs.2,31,000/- and the total arrears are approximately Rs.5,73,000/-.

Having considered the huge arrears which have accumulated, the learned Magistrate is directed to assess the correctness of the same and if the arrears are found to be correct, then along with the present maintenance amount which is to be deposited and cleared each and every month, the learned Magistrate will direct the opposite party no.2 herein to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) per month towards the arrears and clear the entire arrears which have accumulated. In case there is any deviation, the learned Magistrate would be at liberty to exhaust the harsher process of law for recovery of the said amount. In view of the nature of the submissions so advanced on behalf of the petitioner, the whole arrears should be cleared by 15.03.2025.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 754 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties including the learned trial court shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
