By presenting this writ petition, inter alia, petitioner has questioned provisional recognition granted in favour of Paschim Jouthia Hazi Sahadat Jr. High Madrasah, South 24 Parganas (hereinafter referred to as "said Madrasah") vide memo dated 13th December, 2024 issued by the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education.

In the writ petition sole petitioner has claimed as the President of the Managing Committee of the said Madrasah. However, nothing is on record from where it can be found that petitioner is the President of the present Managing

Committee of the said Madrasah.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he was the President of the Organising Managing Committee of the said Madrasah.

Taking note of such submission made on behalf of the petitioner Court has posed a query if petitioner was functioning as the President of the Organising Managing Committee of the said Madrasah in support of the same there must be the resolution adopted by the Organising Managing Committee either electing or nominating the petitioner as the President of the Organising Managing Committee of the said Madrasah.

In reply, no plausible explanation is forthcoming.

Since it is not substantiated before this Court that petitioner is at present functioning as the President of the Managing Committee of the said Madrasah, it appears that the present writ petition at the instance of the petitioner is not maintainable since the petitioner has no locus standi.

The writ petition stands dismissed.

However, there shall be no order as to costs.
