Report reflects that the next date has been fixed on 05.04.2024 for appointment of Public Prosecutor. State is directed to ensure that the public prosecutor is engaged and the same public prosecutor appears on 05.04.2024.

It has been submitted that the case has been committed in the year 2023. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that there are 14 witnesses relied upon by the prosecution and the case automatically would consume substantial time. In view of the fact that charges are yet to be framed, I direct the learned trial court that within a month from the next date so fixed, the stage of consideration of charges be overcome and if after consideration of charges, the learned trial court is of the opinion that the trial of the case should progress, in that case, the learned trial court will fix such schedule once in every two months so that

the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

No unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties.

In case any witness is absent, notice be sent to the Inspector-in-Charge, Khardah Police Station to ensure regarding the availability of the witness concerned and/or in the alternative submit a report to the court regarding the non-availability of the witness for the reasons beyond control.

The Public Prosecutor appearing in the case would produce the materials, documents and exhibits on the dates fixed for examination of the witnesses concerned.

All efforts be taken by the stake-holders to cooperate with the trial court so that the trial is concluded within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 758 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
