Mr. Mrityunjoy Chatterjee Ms. Suchismita Chakraborty ...for the petitioner Mr. Iqbal Kabir Ms. Jonaki Saha ... for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner happens to be the husband of the alleged victim. Some other accused have already been granted anticipatory bail. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the injury report and bed head ticket of the victim, which shows that it was a case of insecticide poisoning. He refers to the statement of the victim where she had categorically implicated the present petitioner and the other in-laws for administration of insecticide to her. There are statements of neighbours who claimed that they were immediate post occurrence witnesses and that they took the victim to the hospital. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
