The petitioner is a retired Assistant Teacher of Bhutni Chandipur High School, District - Malda. The grievance of the petitioner is that in terms of the order of the School Education Department, Secondary Branch, Government of West Bengal, bearing Memo No. 806-SE/S/10M-29/16 (Pt III) dated July 08, 2019, the petitioner is entitled to receive his lost increments and all benefits thereof, but the same has not been paid to him.

It appears from the record that a representation of the petitioner praying restoration of lost increment and all benefits in terms of the said order is pending before the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Malda, the respondent no. 4 herein. The said representation dated February 23, 2022 forms part of the writ petition being Annexure - 'P-6'.

The respondent no. 4 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order after giving the petitioner an opportunity of hearing.

W.P.A. 4444 of 2022 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
