Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, there is a counter-case also. The son of the petitioner also suffered injury and was also admitted in hospital. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report and the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.). He submits that, the victim was admitted in the hospital for two days.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1238 of 2022 is dismissed.
